Being lucky enough to work at the Historic Dockyard in Portsmouth, I have developed an enormous appreciation for all things nautical. This concept goes exceedingly well with gin, which has a … Read More

Half Hitch – A double exposure of past and present

I’ve had a soft spot for Camden since I was young. It reminded me of Brighton, where people were colourful and inventive and most importantly didn’t judge each other. It’s … Read More

It was lovely to return to the judge's table yesterday for the World Gin Awards. Coming out of hibernation for the World Gin Awards! I'm on my way to London. Trains are all over the show (please can someone just make them a decent offer), so I'm taking a detour and watching the gorgeous scenery. The landscape is changed by frozen lakes, and everything is kissed by diamond dust. These views, once a norm, are now more of a treat, and I relish them. A massive thank you to the little elf that put me on this gifted list 🎁 What a wonderful month, this October, this ever changing season. I feel like I'm moving on a very different person to how I started. Sorry for the quiet spell. After taking a couple of days to recover from the Craft Distilling Expo it was time to catch up with my work. First in class of course! I was planning on a simple Insta post of this bottle, but there is just too much to say. Credit to the new Virgin Hotel Edinburgh, it's a really nice spot.
